My Bodywork is an eclectic mix of deep tissue and energy work done with the intention of supporting body mind awareness and healing. Ive been in practice for 23 years and have continued to evolve my education and techniques with study in energy work and myofascial release. I taught deep tissue therapy at the Finger Lakes School of Massage from 2002-2012. My knowledge of the body is supported by my yoga teacher training and awareness of chakra energetics.

Integrative Massage

My massages draw forth the relaxing and intuitive space of the parasympathetic nervous system while applying my specific knowledge of anatomy and palpating where energy is in movement or stagnant in the body.
The intention is continued connection with the wisdom of the body.

Body Inquiry Session

I support you in being with sensations in the body and following these sensations as a way to gather wisdom about whatever you may be facing. Sensations are like clues to unlocking a mystery. Pain, whether physical or emotional, is transformed into a powerful invitation to inquire more, listen and adjust. Pleasant sensations are open doorways that can lead you to a different perspective. You will leave this session with a deepened relationship with your body as resource and a different perspective on your current challenge.

Maya Abdominal Therapy

Maya Abdominal Therapy is a massage that focuses on the abdominal region, lower back and hips with the intention of supporting circulation and structural alignment of the digestive and reproductive organs. I studied this work in Belize with Rosita Arvigo, who along with native Mayan healers, developed the technique.
